This project transforms the original entry column and half wall into a clean, modern peninsula that subtly separates the foyer from the living room. We removed the dated round column, rebuilt and straightened the half wall, then clad it entirely in large-format white tile with matching trim and baseboards. The result is a sleek architectural element that visually enlarges the space, protects the wall from everyday traffic near the front door, and ties in perfectly with the polished porcelain flooring.
